最近，我们城市附近的河流被严重污染了。清洁的`水不见了。以前，那里曾经有许多鱼儿自由地游来游去，可现在一条鱼也没有了，城市里许多工厂的废物倾倒入河流里。日复一日，那曾经漂亮的河流都已经变成了又臭又脏的垃圾堆。
The rivers near our city have been seriously polluted recently. The clear water has gone. There used to be many fishes swimming freely in it. But now they are gone. Many factories in the city pour the waste into the rivers. And day after day, the once beautiful rivers have turned into smelly and dirty dustbins.
